Recently we were called out for a burst pipe detection in Doubleview.

The burst pipe issue was first noticed when the owner received a significantly higher water bill than usual.

Our team promptly responded to locate the leak coming from the burst pipe using acoustic methods. However, we were initially unable to pinpoint its exact location, which was rather unusual.

To investigate further, we introduced tracer gas into the piping system, revealing that the gas was escaping near an external wall.

Upon closer examination, we discovered that a pipe had been run through a sleeve from one side of the house to the other, and friction between the pipes had created a pinhole.

The necessary repairs involved rerouting the pipe through the sleeve to address the pipework issue.
